Teisko Tuote is a family business that was founded in the fall of 2012 after Jari left his permanent day job at Nokia OYJ Tampere unit due to its closure. Initially, the focus was on printed products and consulting on software testing projects. However, during the summer months, a takeaway-style summer cafe operated in the premises. Now, Teisko Tuote has finally found its own place in Terälahti.
We grew various chilies and other vegetables in a greenhouse during the early stages. We sold them in small jars at the Kämmenniemi summer market and noticed that customers liked them very much, which encouraged us to increase production. However, our principle has been that the products that make it to the shelf are those that we ourselves like, so we don't strive to increase quantity at the expense of quality.
We have our own registered trademark "Pahatar" which includes ten different chili-based products. In addition to these, we also have ten other products, including mustard and cucumber preserves. Currently, these custom products are available in ten S-group stores and, of course, in our Cafe as well.
TUULA - 30 years of work experience in various kitchens, a dietitian's professional degree and restaurant training have created a solid foundation for special diets. In addition, Tuula has worked for 15 years as a national food allergy advisor at the Pirkanmaa Allergy and Asthma Association. Tuula's dream was to establish her own café, and this finally happened in early 2022, when she left her previous position. Teisko Tuote café opened on April 16, 2022, and it has gained its own customer base as a place where you can meet acquaintances and organize meetings, for example. It is possible to order almost any kind of pastries from the café, for both everyday and celebrations.
JARI - Printing side operates in a space adjacent to the café. Printing work, such as advertising prints, mug prints, sticker and t-shirt prints, is done in Terälahti premises, and nowadays also large-format printing. Jari currently works mainly as a subcontractor for Fastems on installation, commissioning, and training tasks around the world. However, the work at Printside is done according to the orders received, and we are training new staff for Printside for this purpose. Jari still works at Printside whenever he is present. Also renting various sound & light system is possible by Teisko Tuote, and if Jari is available he can act as a DJ or Karaoke host.
JUUSO - Juuso operates in Teisko Tuote emphasis on urgency. In the winter, sanding and plowing are Juuso's responsibility with the company's equipment. Also in Europe, Juuso has been in Fastems installation and maintenance assignments as a subcontractor.
